What is Seeking Alpha?
Seeking Alpha is a financial research platform that combines stock analysis from a large community of contributing analysts with market news, data and investing tools. It was founded in 2005.
Users can read long and short stock ideas, market outlook and dividend strategy articles, follow earnings call transcripts, and browse an earnings calendar. Stock and ETF screeners come with preset lists such as top-rated or top dividend stocks, and a comparison tool puts stocks side by side. Portfolio tools include a Portfolio Health Check and a dividend portfolio view.
A free account gives access to part of the content, while quant ratings and other views are locked behind paid tiers such as Premium and PRO. Separate products like Alpha Picks and a marketplace of Investing Groups offer additional paid research. It suits individual investors, dividend investors and active traders who want research and ratings in one place.
