What is TradingView?
TradingView is a charting and market-tracking platform that covers stocks, indices, crypto, futures, forex and bonds. Its main charting product, Supercharts, works alongside economic, earnings and IPO calendars, news feeds, and a screener that handles a set number of AI requests depending on the plan.
The platform also has a community. Users publish trade ideas and chart analyses, and they share indicators and strategies in a public script library. Through partner brokers, users can trade directly from the charts. Layouts, watchlists and settings sync across the web, desktop and mobile apps. The desktop app supports multiple monitors, and the mobile apps send push notifications.
The free Basic plan suits casual market watchers. Paid tiers raise the limits on charts per tab, indicators, historical bars and alerts, which suits active traders. Only the Ultimate plan is offered to professional users, and enterprise pricing is available for teams of 100 or more.
