What is Udio?
Udio is an AI music generator that creates songs from prompts. Users describe the track they want, and Udio generates clips in pairs, either 32 seconds or 130 seconds long. Clips can be trimmed for free.
Generation runs on credits. A pair of 32-second songs costs 2 credits and a pair of 130-second songs costs 4. Free accounts get 10 credits a day, up to 100 a month, and can make at most three 130-second songs per day. The paid Standard and Pro subscriptions raise the allowance to up to 2,400 and 6,000 credits a month. You can also buy extra credits that never expire.
Udio runs on the web and has an iOS app. It fits hobbyists, songwriters and creators who want to try musical ideas quickly. The help center does not list subscription prices.
