What is Meshy?
Meshy is an AI 3D model generator that turns text prompts or images, including sketches and concept art, into 3D models, often in under a minute. It also creates PBR textures (albedo, normal, metallic, roughness), auto-rigs humanoid and quadruped characters, and applies motion presets for animation.
Models export as FBX, GLB, OBJ, USDZ, or STL/3MF for 3D printing. Meshy says printable models come out watertight and manifold, and it can auto-split and auto-repair them. Plugins connect it to Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Maya, 3ds Max, Roblox Studio and several slicers. There is also an API, an MCP server and a CLI for developers.
