What is Crowdin?
Crowdin is a localization platform for translating software, mobile apps, websites, games, marketing content and documentation. Teams upload source files in 100+ formats or connect them through integrations. They then translate in an online editor that offers translation memory, glossaries, suggestions and quality checks.
The platform has an AI translation suite. It can pre-translate, proofread with AI and run automatic QA. It works with AI providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Azure AI, plus 40+ machine translation engines, including DeepL and Google Translate. A Context Harvester collects product context to improve AI output. Developers can use the API, a CLI, branch-based workflows and over-the-air delivery for mobile apps.
Crowdin comes in two versions. Crowdin.com is for indie developers and crowdsourced projects. Crowdin Enterprise is for organizations and adds options such as SAML SSO, custom workflows and data residency. More than 700 integrations are available, including GitHub, Figma, WordPress and Unity.
