Microsoft Dragon Copilot is an AI clinical assistant that helps healthcare workers document patient encounters, find information and automate routine tasks. It replaces and extends Nuance's Dragon Medical One, and Microsoft offers a migration path for existing customers.
For physicians, it captures multi-party, multilingual conversations as they happen and turns them into specialty-specific notes. It also answers questions from transcripts, notes and third-party medical references, with citations, and drafts coding suggestions, referral letters and after-visit summaries. For nurses, it turns spoken observations into structured flowsheet entries, which nurses review before they go into the EHR. Radiologists get help with report creation and summaries of prior reports through a PowerScribe One companion, which is in preview in the US.
It connects to EHRs such as Epic and is aimed at hospitals and health systems. Microsoft does not publish prices. Organizations have to contact sales.
