What is Reduct?
Reduct is a browser-based platform that transcribes audio and video so teams can search, annotate, redact, clip and edit recordings by working with the transcript text. Clicking a word jumps to that moment in the video, and selecting text selects the matching footage.
Users upload media in most formats or import it from Zoom, Google Drive, Dropbox, Vimeo and UserTesting. Live Capture brings in Zoom, Google Meet and Teams calls as they happen. From there, teams can label highlights, search one recording or the whole repository with exact or fuzzy search, assemble reels, arrange clips on a collaborative Videoboard, and send rough cuts to Premiere Pro. Higher plans add multicam sync, PII redaction and court-formatted transcript exports.
It is aimed at public defenders and legal teams reviewing discovery, UX and qualitative researchers, marketers, educators and video producers. It supports more than 90 languages and offers optional overnight human transcription at extra cost.
