Platforms
What is Rev?
Rev is an investigative platform that turns case evidence (audio, video, images and documents) into a searchable, citable record. Lawyers, prosecutors and investigators upload body cam footage, jail calls, interrogations, witness statements and photos. Rev then transcribes the files, lets users ask questions across all of them at once, and links every finding back to the source file and timestamp.
From those findings, users can draft memos, motions, affidavits or chronologies with AI templates and a built-in document editor, then export to Word or PDF. A mobile app records and transcribes interviews in the field.
Next to the subscription platform, Rev sells human-verified services a la carte: human transcription (99%+ accuracy), legal transcripts, captions, global subtitles in 17 languages and SmartDepo deposition summaries. A speech-to-text API is available through rev.ai. Rev is SOC 2 Type II audited and offers CJIS- and HIPAA-compliant environments on Unlimited plans.
