Coinrule is a clean no-code rule builder that runs across 25+ exchanges and brokers, plus onchain venues, and its flat monthly fee beats percentage-based pricing once volume passes about $3,000 a month. Trader at $59.99/mo is the best-value tier at $2.40 per live rule. Public complaints about inconsistent execution, no account-wide risk cap and unavailability in the EU/EEA are the reasons to test with demo rules first.
Best for: Retail traders outside the EU/EEA who want rule-based crypto and stock automation without writing code
Read the full reviewCoinrule is a no-code platform for building automated trading bots for crypto, stocks and ETFs. You set rules in a visual builder, such as "buy BTC if it drops 5% in 24 hours", or start from one of 350+ template strategies. Coinrule then runs them 24/7 on connected exchanges and brokers including Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, OKX, Bybit, Hyperliquid, Trading 212, Webull and Alpaca. It can also trade onchain on Base, Arbitrum and BSC.
You can test strategies with backtesting and a demo exchange before you trade real money. TradingView signals and Pine Script alerts can trigger trades. An MCP server lets AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini create bots, run backtests and manage strategies. The platform is non-custodial: it connects through API keys without withdrawal permissions.
Coinrule suits retail traders who want to automate rules without writing code, as well as more active traders who need higher volume limits and TradingView automation. It is not available to users in the EU/EEA because of MiCA.

Coinrule builds trading bots from IF-THEN rules, with no code, and runs them against crypto exchanges, onchain venues and stock brokers. The homepage example shows the whole model in one line: IF RSI < 30 THEN BUY on BTC/USDT. Everything else is a variation on that pattern.

You connect an exchange or broker through API keys, then either pick a template or build a rule from conditions and actions. Conditions cover indicators (RSI, MACD, moving average crosses, Bollinger bands), price moves over a set window and time-based triggers. Actions cover buys, sells, stop-losses, trailing stops and take-profit ladders. The template library lists 350+ strategies, sorted into Accumulate, Protect, Trend, Rebalance and Scalp. Examples shown publicly include Smart DCA, Golden Cross (50 MA over 200 MA), Grid Range Trader, Trailing Stop Loss and Stablecoin Shield.

Before going live, you can run a backtest. The homepage tool lets you pick a template, an initial amount between $100 and $10,000 and a period between 1 and 24 months, then compares the result with buy and hold. The sample output (+32.0% against +22.0% for holding, 64% win rate, 19 trades, 13% drawdown) carries a disclaimer that it is an illustration, not a real result. Treat it as a demonstration of the report format, not as evidence the template works. A demo exchange with virtual funds covers forward testing, and the Investor plan includes 7 demo rules alongside its 7 live ones.

A mobile app for iOS and Android sends push alerts when trades fire. The Investor plan adds Telegram alerts.
Onchain and stocks under one rule engine. Most no-code bot platforms stop at centralized crypto exchanges. Coinrule runs the same rule logic on Base, Arbitrum, BSC and Hyperliquid, and it connects to stock and ETF brokers including Alpaca, Webull, Trading 212, E*Trade and Public. Its tagline cites 25+ exchanges and brokers. If you trade perpetuals on Hyperliquid and spot on Binance, you maintain one set of rules instead of two tools. The stock side is newer than the crypto side, so check that your broker's order types behave the way your rule assumes before you size up.
TradingView alerts as the trigger. Pine Script alerts can fire Coinrule rules, so you keep your charting and signal logic in TradingView and use Coinrule only for execution. For anyone who already has working indicators there, this is the shortest path to automation. It sits behind the Trader plan at $59.99/mo, so the free and Investor plans can't use it.
MCP access for outside LLMs. The MCP server lets ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok draft strategies, run backtests and manage agents. That suits traders who can describe a multi-leg strategy in plain English faster than they can click it together. It also hands an LLM a route to live positions. Use a dedicated API key with tight permissions, and start with demo rules before you let a model touch real funds.

Reliability is the recurring complaint. Trustpilot shows 3.8 out of 5 as of June 2026, against the 4.9 Google and 4.8 Apple Store ratings the homepage prints. A June 2026 reviewer called execution "inconsistent" and described a platform "still in beta, yet marketed as a polished, professional trading tool." A positive review from the same month praises the setup process and the range of automation options. When order execution is the product, a pattern of missed or inconsistent fills matters more than interface polish. Run demo rules on your exact exchange and pair before you commit capital.
There's no sign of account-wide risk control in the public materials. You can attach stops to individual rules, but nothing shows a cap on total drawdown across all active rules. Ten rules on correlated altcoins can all fire in the same crash.
The free plan limits are tighter than the "2 strategies" headline suggests. You get 1 connected exchange, $3k of monthly volume, 10 template strategies and 30 executions per rule. A 5-minute grid rule can burn through 30 executions in an afternoon, so the free plan suits a slow DCA or stop-loss rule and little else.
Coinrule isn't available to users in the EU or EEA because of MiCA. Check your residency before you spend time on setup.
The product also targets one trader per account. The plans show no seat structure, team permissions or audit logging, so a small fund or advisory desk would need to look elsewhere.
As of October 2026, Investor costs $29.99/mo for 7 live rules, 3 connected exchanges and $500k of monthly volume. Trader costs $59.99/mo for 25 live rules, 5 exchanges and $10M of volume. Pro costs $749/mo for 50 live rules, unlimited exchanges and volume, a dedicated server and weekly 1-to-1 sessions. A Business tier is custom-priced.
The flat fee beats a 1% per-trade model once you pass about $3,000 a month in volume, because 1% of $3,000 is $30. At $500k a month, 1% would be $5,000, against $29.99 here. That's the real case for Coinrule, and it grows with volume.
Per live rule, Trader is the best deal. It works out to $2.40 per rule against $4.28 on Investor and $14.98 on Pro. Pro makes sense only if you need the dedicated server for execution speed or the weekly sessions. Doubling the rule count from 25 to 50 doesn't justify a $689 monthly jump on its own.
Annual billing saves almost nothing. Investor is $359 a year against $359.88 paid monthly, and Trader is $719 against $719.88. Pay monthly, and use the 14-day money-back guarantee on paid plans to test your actual strategies. Cost-conscious traders comparing other bot platforms on price and API key handling should read 3Commas Alternatives by Bot Type, Price and API Key Safety.

Pick Coinrule if you're a retail trader outside the EU/EEA who already knows what RSI and moving-average crosses do and wants them executed around the clock without writing code. It fits best if you trade enough volume that a flat fee beats percentage fees, or if you spread activity across spot, Hyperliquid and a stock broker. TradingView users who want alerts to place orders get the most from the Trader plan.
Skip it if you live in the EU or EEA, if you need account-level drawdown limits, or if you need multi-user permissions and audit trails. Skip it too if you expect the bot to generate trading ideas. It executes the logic you give it and nothing more. And if missed fills would cost you real money, weigh the reliability complaints above before paying for a full year.
Create exchange API keys with trading permission only. Coinrule says it's non-custodial and works without withdrawal permissions, so never enable withdrawals on a key you hand to any bot. Keep one key per platform so you can revoke it independently.
Automated trading carries risk of loss, including total loss of capital, and backtested or simulated results don't predict future returns. This review isn't financial advice.
