From each vendor's own pages, re-checked every two months. Of 11 tools we checked, none state whether they train AI on your content, and 3 hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
Start with the threat you need to stop, because these tools cover quite different problems. For vendor and B2B payment fraud, look at Trustpair, which validates bank accounts for finance teams, or Trustmi. For banking fraud and AML, the options include Feedzai, NICE Actimize and BioCatch, while SEON targets fintech, payments and iGaming. Deepfakes call for GetReal Security or Reality Defender, and AI risk and compliance for IBM watsonx.governance.
Next, check who the product is built for. Several name banks or financial institutions as their main customers, while Sift is described by what it protects: payments, logins and signups.
Then compare pricing. Most tools here are contact-for-quote. Only SEON (from $699/mo) and watsonx.governance (from $3,500/mo) list a starting price, both with a free trial, and Reality Defender is freemium.
Finally, consider integration. Trustpair, SEON, BioCatch, Sift, Adaptive Security and Reality Defender offer APIs. watsonx.governance can be self-hosted, and Adaptive Security also comes as a Chrome extension and for Slack.
None of the tools listed here is entirely free. Reality Defender, which detects deepfakes, is the only one with a freemium plan. SEON and IBM watsonx.governance offer free trials, and the rest are priced by contacting the vendor.
Only two tools on this list publish a starting price: SEON from $699/mo and IBM watsonx.governance from $3,500/mo. GetReal Security, Trustpair, Feedzai, NICE Actimize, Trustmi, BioCatch, Sift and Adaptive Security all require contacting the vendor for pricing. Reality Defender is freemium, with no paid price given on our list.
First, match the tool to the fraud you face: Trustpair and Trustmi focus on B2B and vendor payments, BioCatch on behavioral signals at banks, and Sift on payments, logins and signups. Then check whether it is aimed at businesses like yours, and whether you need an API. Trustpair, SEON, BioCatch and Sift all offer one. We did not test these tools, so ask vendors to show how they handle your own cases.
NICE Actimize is the closest match on this list, offering AML, fraud prevention and compliance software for financial institutions. BioCatch also serves banks, using behavioral biometrics to detect fraud, scams and mule accounts. SEON covers fraud prevention and AML for fintech, payments and iGaming, and lists a starting price of $699/mo with a free trial.
