What is Numeric?

Numeric is a financial data platform for accounting teams. It handles the month-end close, reconciliations, flux analysis, cash matching, billing and revenue recognition. Teams can run it on top of an existing ERP such as NetSuite, or adopt its ERP replacement one module at a time.

The close tools include a shared checklist for people and agents, automatic balance sheet reconciliation where reviewers only handle exceptions, transaction monitors that flag anomalies, and AI-drafted flux explanations. Cash Management matches bank transactions using custom rules and AI suggestions. Billing & Revenue matches usage events to contracts, sends invoices and supports ASC 606 compliance.

The Financial Data Platform stores whole financial records and derives journal entries from them. It also offers an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT, an App Studio for custom dashboards and an agent builder. It is aimed at controllers, accounting teams and finance engineers. Pricing is available only through a sales demo.

Accounting teams organize close tasks, automate reconciliations and review only the exceptions. Customer stories cite closes that dropped from 6 to 4 days.

Usage-based billing

Companies with complex pricing match usage events to contract terms, generate invoices and recognize revenue under ASC 606.

Cash reconciliation

Finance teams match bank transactions with flexible rules and post intercompany transfers back to NetSuite.

Replacing the ERP

Teams that outgrow NetSuite can move to the Financial Data Platform module by module and have journal entries derived automatically.

Numeric FAQ

Can Numeric be used with my current ERP?

Yes. It integrates with NetSuite and other ERPs for close, reconciliations, flux analysis and reporting. Some features, such as Agentic Subledgers and App Studio, require the ERP Replacement product.

How much does Numeric cost?

The site does not list prices. Plans are offered per module (Close Management & Analytics, Cash Management, Billing & Revenue, ERP Replacement), and you get a quote by scheduling a demo.

Does the Financial Data Platform still use journal entries?

Yes. The system derives journal entries automatically from source records such as contracts, bills, invoices and leases, so the team does not post them by hand.

Where should a team start?

Numeric says most teams start with Close Management or Billing & Revenue and expand from there.
