What is Smartsheet?
Smartsheet is a work management platform for planning and tracking projects, portfolios and business processes. Teams build sheets with Gantt, grid, board, calendar and timeline views, then add dashboards, reports, forms and automated workflows such as approvals, reminders and update requests.
Built-in AI tools include Smart Assist, Smart Columns, an AI dashboard builder, intelligent form fill, formula generation and data analysis. On the Business plan and above, Smartsheet data can connect to external AI tools such as Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini Enterprise. It also integrates with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack and nearly 100 other apps.
Smartsheet fits teams of any size, from small groups on the Pro plan to enterprise PMOs, IT departments, operations teams and client-delivery organizations. Larger customers can add portfolio management, resource planning, SAML SSO and data governance features.
